M328 - An international agreement about the possibility of shipping hand sanitisers in connection with COVID-19

Denmark has just joined the Multilateral agreement, M328, which opens up the opportunity to make 240 litres of hand sanitiser classified as dangerous goods ready for transport and send it without having to comply with the transport requirements in the ADR convention.

It is presumed that the requirements in the agreement are met – including the purpose of the shipment, a limitation in the unit sizes, a limitation in the total transport quantity and requirements for bringing along a hand fire extinguisher and documentation for using this exception.
