Workshop | UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals

The workshop, SDG Red Dot Session, is suitable for companies wishing to be more specific in their work with sustainability.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the 169 subsidiary goals are the underlying basis of an intense and inspiring workshop. At this workshop management and employees jointly identify the company’s potential for working with UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and at the same time strengthen their business!

In addition to a general introduction to 17 goals, you will at the workshop work with different tools inspiring you to be more specific in your work with the goals throughout the entire value chain. Together you prioritise which subsidiary goals you should continue working with strategically back at your company.

The WORKSHOP provides you with the following:

• A clear and prioritised plan of strengthening the company’s ability to convert risks and opportunities arising with UN’s goals to sustainable commercial solutions.
• A common realisation of the difference between what is the ”future direction” and what are ”present tasks”.
• All participants are heard, seen and recognised as players in the company’s path towards a sustainable development.
• Clarity of which initiatives are must-win-battles and which are nice-to-have in connection with sustainability.
• Unity about who co-ordinates the tasks defined jointly in the team.
• The team sticks together as it has jointly visualised and assessed several possible future scenarios – also even if everybody does not necessarily agree about which are the best.

The workshop is divided into four steps naturally following each other. All 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 subsidiary goals are described on preprinted Post-It’s. The format of the workshop inspires the participants to find out themselves how a SDG agenda may lead to new business opportunities. All materials used at the workshop are included.
