TIC Council:

On request of the Directorate-General for communications networks, content and technology of the European Commission, TIC Council were engaged to set up a drafting work group. The drafting work group are tasked to develop a temporary assessment framework in compliance to the Taxonomy Regulation 2020/852 for Data Center activities in order to comply with the technical screening criteria of the Climate Delegated Act on Sustainability and Efficiency. In line with this, companies need to complete their audit by the end of 2022, and verification of economic activities of data centres by an independent third party has to be performed beforehand.
