FSSC 22000
certification
Where ISO 22000 is a food standard covering the entire supply chain, the FSSC 22000 is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), an approved food safety standard based on ISO 22000. Many of the world's largest retailers require this standard. Our global team of food and agricultural security experts can audit your business according to these standards and provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve certification.
The FSSC 22000 standard provides a complete certification scheme for food safety systems in companies that process or manufacture animal products, perishable vegetable products, long-lasting products, other food ingredients (such as additives, vitamins, bio cultures) and food packaging.
As of May 2019, a new update has been added to the FSSC 22000 standard. The new upgrade process of FSSC 22000, version 5, starts January 1, 2020. What does this mean for certified organizations? There are a number of implications for organizations that are certified to the FSSC 22000 standard. With an experienced team of certification professionals, Bureau Veritas Certification Denmark A/S can help you identify the changes as well as take necessary actions to meet new commitments.
