Marketing Coordinator at Bureau Veritas

My name is Victoria Bates, and I have a master in Danish and Media Science. In September 2022, I was hired as maternity cover in a position as Marketing Coordinator at Bureau Veritas Denmark. I primarily work with e-mail marketing, social media, and advertising as well as content creation.

I meet many interesting and competent people when I work with the marketing team and coordinate and arrange events, presentations, and client cases. My job varies a lot, and not one day is the same as the day before. This is a huge motivation factor for me.

As Marketing Coordinator I work with all departments when we for instance produce a client case about transport of dangerous goods, make a campaign plan of the sustainable development goals or set-up gamification within cybersecurity. In this way I constantly learn something new also outside my own field of competences. I constantly have a dialogue with our experts – therefore, I am never bored.

Bureau Veritas is a company with room for everybody. Here the opportunity of a good work-life balance exists, which I really appreciate when everyday life becomes a bit challenging. Solidarity, trust and professionalism are not only prerequisites for clients at Bureau Veritas – it is also a priority between colleagues across departments.  

But my most important area of responsibility, which is crucial for a good atmosphere in the department, is the mandatory music management, which I sometimes sing along to."
