CSRD for SMEs
The EU has made it mandatory for larger companies to publish CSRD sustainability reports. Small and medium-sized companies are not directly covered yet. However, it is very likely that they have faced the requirements as subcontractors to a larger company, or that they will be subject to the requirements in the future.
We recommend all SMEs to prepare for the CSRD.
start with a clarification meeting
Feel free to contact us if you lack knowledge, an overview and a clarification of how to best get started as a small company with limited resources to lift the reporting. That is what we are here for.

Three places to start for SMEs
1. get a good understanding of the csrd
Initially, it is about gaining knowledge. You can make it easy for yourself by signing up for our newsletter, Wake Up⏰, in which we continuously keep you updated, inspired, and motivated. We also offer training courses in CSRD reporting.
2. See the advantages rather than the disadvantages
The CSRD is not 'just' a new legislation. It is a standardised way of making companies' sustainability data available for comparison, just like you know it from financial reports. Therefore, you can regard the time spent now as a strategic approach to future-proof your company - you should seize that opportunity. We can help you turn the task into a strategic advantage.
3. be proactive
There is no doubt that there are great competitive advantages in being able to provide the right data to customers who are subject to CSRD sustainability reporting. For example, it can be a concrete advantage for you to proactively reach out to your customers and ask which data they need. The sooner you are able to deliver data efficiently, the better.
