Specialist Course in Quality Management and Requirements in the Automotive Industry
IATF 16949 is the global standard for quality management in the automotive industry. The standard builds on the principles of ISO 9001 quality management and quality management systems, but includes a number of additional automotive-specific requirements developed by the vehicle manufacturers themselves, with the aim of ensuring:
- continuous improvement
- prevention of defects
- reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain
For many, IATF is not merely a mark of quality, but a strict entry requirement for customers and supply chains within the automotive industry.
In the IATF 16949 Specialist course, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the standard’s requirements and structure—and, not least, how they are applied in practice. This will equip you with the competencies needed to actively work with quality management in the automotive industry.

However, it is an advantage if you already have a basic knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard and preferably practical experience.
