Root Cause Analysis (RCA) - In English
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is used, among other things, to improve product quality, minimize safety risks, and meet the requirements of a company’s many stakeholders.
RCA helps organizations identify the underlying causes of nonconformities and potential risks, enabling the implementation of preventive risk management and corrective actions that can prevent problems from occurring or recurring.
There are requirements to document root cause analyses when identifying corrective actions for incidents and nonconformities related to, for example, regulatory requirements or management system standards. Well-documented root cause analyses also make it more transparent for decision-makers when assessing nonconformities, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
target audience
Systematic root cause analysis is fundamental for individuals working with management systems, but it is also an important tool for others in the organization who work with continuous improvement.
content
To increase the value of the course, it is an advantage if participants bring examples of their own nonconformities, which can be used to identify the underlying causes. In addition, participants are advised to bring the standard they are certified against, so that we can ensure that the root cause analysis of their own case complies with the requirements of the relevant standard.
