The food safety requirements are growing. Consumers and authorities are increasingly demanding food to be treated with care. It is not just about food safety requirements and good hygiene, but also about culinary quality and healthy choices. Inspection / audit scheme is a new and innovative inspection standard that integrates the authorities' minimum requirements with your requirements for eg. quality, variety and culinary quality. Inspection / auditing scheme is targeted at catering, and catering companies and can be developed to integrate other industries such as kiosks, shops etc. Focus will be:
Thorough review of the self-check program. Including withdrawal, traceability, management responsibilities, food labeling, materials and objects, training of employees, registration / authorization
Thorough review of food handling, personal hygiene, cleaning and building and furniture maintenance, pests and waste
Possibility of extension with eg. working environment, energy efficiency, process optimization, culinary quality and other company-specific areas
Reporting with an overview of all units, overall evaluation and score
Upon obtaining 80% of the possible points, a Bureau Veritas certificate is issued.
