APQP4Wind is the Brand-name for the coordinated product and process-development methodology and guideline introduced by a number of significant Wind Power Manufacturers and Tier 1 –suppliers in 2017.

APQP4Wind is developed under the Leadership of Wind Danmark, with Siemens Wind Power and Vestas, KK Wind Solutions and LM Wind Power as main drivers.

The aim of the program is to improve quality and effectiveness throughout the Wind Power Supply Chain. The program provides a common framework, language, rules and advice to support development of products and processes for the Wind Power Industry.

The program name APQP is an abbreviation for Advanced Product Quality Planning, which indicates the scope of the program being from the first product idea until safe serial production is running.

Bureau Veritas is (together with only one more training –provider) approved to conduct the related training related needed to implement APQP4Wind at suppliers and Wind-Turbine Manufacturers.
