Bureau Veritas and Business Kolding make a joint effort to strengthen Danish companies

 

Business Kolding is one of Denmark’s many business associations with the purpose of meeting companies at their local home ground. Here all companies can get competent feedback within their specific business development:

”Business Kolding is a gathering point where companies are able to obtain information within various areas. But it is also a network where you can get competent feedback regarding rules, laws, development, challenges, and opportunities” says Lise Daldorph, Business Developer at Business Kolding.

Business Kolding has a vision to develop Kolding’s business community through networks, competency development and knowledge sharing. It is in this context that they made a cooperative relationship with Bureau Veritas two years ago. A cooperation in which everything comes together, Lise Daldorph points out:

”We are not specialists within all areas and therefore it is essential to have a business partner like Bureau Veritas with special knowledge with a wide field of subjects”.

Bureau Veritas makes sure that Business Kolding is kept up to date with standards, rules, laws, and amendments, so Business Kolding can help companies within these areas. Lise Daldorph emphasises:

”Companies can get a dialogue tool and a system that makes it safe, easy and transparent to manage, control and live up to the various requirements. This creates an overview and a uniformity showing how companies work and at the same time everybody speaks the same language.”

Expert knowledge directly to our memebers

Information about new as well as existing requirements and rules is important knowledge for large as well as small companies. But which way is the best to provide knowledge?

By joining competencies. The best solutions are found in acknowledging your own and others’ strengths, says Lise Daldorph: ”Bureau Veritas has special competencies which we do not have at Business Kolding. In return we have a large network of companies being the target group of this information.”

Bureau Veritas has been a business partner within several activities involving Business Kolding’s members. For instance, a conference about cybersecurity has been held regarding the new NIS2 directive, which will become very important for the Danish business community:

”Most members wish to expand their knowledge, and therefore they highly appreciate our activities and arrangements including those we make in cooperation with Bureau Veritas. Bureau Veritas is always abreast of relevant topics and future tendencies, and they always make sure that we are updated. This is good service” says Lise Daldorph.

A sustainable future

In the light of the profitable cooperation neither Business Kolding nor Bureau Veritas conceal that both parties look forward to a continued cooperation:

In 2023 professional competencies are again in focus and thus the ambition is to hold several arrangements together.
